After Vincent van Gogh died, what happened to all his paintings? One thing's for certain: a great many ended up in the country of his birth, thanks to two women.

 These works make up the basis of the two largest Van Gogh collections in the world – those of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo. They’re two places every Van Gogh fan has to visit at least once.
