Van Gogh in Tilburg, The Netherlands

Vincent van Gogh lived in Tilburg for about a year and a half, studying at the King William II secondary school and boarding with the Hannik family.

Vincent received extensive drawing lessons at school; today, his old classroom houses the Vincents Tekenlokaal (“Vincent’s Classroom”) museum.
