Liesbos
Etten, The Netherlands

  • May 30, 1881 - November 27, 1881

Vincent often drew in the Liesbos forest near Breda and probably made the drawing Edge of a Wood there. When his friend and fellow artist Anthon van Rappard came to visit in June 1881, he too made several drawings in the Liesbos, but they have been lost.
