Hennequin
Paris, France

  • February 28, 1886 - February 19, 1888

Gust. Hennequin’s shop on Avenue de Clichy sold paint, canvases and brushes. Many Impressionists bought materials there. Vincent was also a customer; the shop’s stamp is visible on the backs of two paintings, Self-Portrait, an 1887 work on cardboard, and Basket of Apples. The store remained in business until late 2010.
